Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture Office to ensure alignment with architectural standards and principles, define long-term infrastructure roadmaps and identify areas for continuous improvement, addressing the unique requirements of a asset environment.
  • Define the ways of working and operating model for asset infrastructure design and delivery, taking into account the different stakeholders in the City, District and Asset Development areas.
  • Define standards, basis of design and preferred vendors to be followed by the different asset developers and contractors and keep them updated to contemplate the evolution of technologies.
  • Build the computing infrastructure capability in line with the hosting strategy and ensure this one is applied by the assets.
  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust and scalable infrastructure architecture that meets current and future organizational needs, emphasizing the integration of cloud, cloud-hybrid, and on-site infrastructure elements. Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture Office to ensure architectural integrity and adherence to standards in cloud-hybrid and on-site environ
  • Build the team to manage the Infrastructure Design and Delivery with the right capabilities, and aligned to the mandate and strategy
  • Covering all infrastructure topics: Network, Security, Compute & Storage for both On-premise solutions and cloud
Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
11+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a strong focus on corporate design and delivery
Proven experience in leading large-scale infrastructure initiatives and managing cross-functional teams
Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies, cloud services, and emerging trends in the industry
Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering successful infrastructure projects
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization
Build the team to manage the Infrastructure Design and Delivery with the right capabilities, and aligned to the mandate and strategy
Covering all infrastructure topics: Network, Security, Compute & Storage for both On-premise solutions and cloud
