Roles and responsibilities

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of creating cutting-edge entertainment and leisure experiences in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Specialist - Hospitality Strategy. In this role, you will contribute to the development of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing Qiddiya's hospitality segment and ensuring alignment with our overarching business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of hospitality strategies that align with Qiddiya's vision and goals
  • Conduct market research and analysis of hospitality trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Assist in the design of operational models that enhance guest experiences and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess opportunities for growth and innovation within the hospitality sector
  • Contribute to the formulation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor their effectiveness in achieving business objectives
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, effectively communicating strategic insights and recommendations
  • Participate in workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather input and feedback for strategy development
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure Qiddiya remains a leader in hospitality offerings
  • Sales and Upselling
    Promote hotel services, amenities, and experiences to guests to enhance their stay and increase revenue (e.g., upgrades, special packages, dining options, excursions).
    Cross-sell additional services or experiences that may improve guests' satisfaction and drive business growth.
    Assist in managing reservations, including bookings, cancellations, and special requests.
    Event and Conference Management
    Work with event planners or meeting coordinators to organize and manage events such as conferences, weddings, meetings, and banquets.
    Ensure that event logistics are aligned with client expectations, including catering, room setup, and technology needs.
    Ensure that all event services are delivered on time and meet the highest standards of quality and customer service.
    Training and Team Collaboration
    Provide training and guidance to other hospitality staff, ensuring that everyone adheres to customer service standards and company policies.
    Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and a high level of guest satisfaction.
    Assist in developing new processes or initiatives aimed at improving the overall guest experience and operational efficiency.
Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality strategy, planning, or consulting
Guest Relations and Customer Service
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring that all guests' needs are met promptly and professionally.
Build strong relationships with guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay or visit.
Handle special requests, such as accommodations, room service, or personalized experiences, and ensure that guests' expectations are exceeded.
Assist with check-in/check-out processes, ensuring smooth and efficient service for guests.
Service Coordination and Management
Coordinate with different departments (e.g., front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance) to ensure that guest needs are met seamlessly.
Monitor service quality standards and ensure that all departments are following best practices in guest service.
Organize and manage events or activities, such as conferences, weddings, or group bookings, to ensure they run smoothly and meet client expectations.
Problem Resolution and Issue Management
Respond quickly and effectively to guest complaints or concerns, aiming to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
Proactively address potential issues by identifying service gaps or guest feedback that could indicate dissatisfaction.
Provide personalized solutions to guests, ensuring that any negative experiences are transformed into positive ones.
