Integration Development Data Engineering Team Leader

**Responsibilities**:
**Strategy**
- Participate in setting the section’s goals and strategies
- Develop and own data Integration Development execution plans
- Participate in the Data Engineering Strategy
- Participate in the Enterprise Data As Asset Strategy
- Oversee opportunities and develop strategies that support achieving the bank’s vision

**Policies, Processes & Procedures**
- Develop, maintain, and own the Data Integration Development policies, procedures, and standards and ensure the implementation of required controls covering all integration Development activities, and tools supporting different Sources of data such as Enterprise Data Warehouse, Big Data, and Operational Data Repository.
- Ensure the adherence to relevant departmental policies, processes, and standards and operating
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvement and automation
- Optimize and improve quality of service and quality of deliverables and develop performance monitoring and improvement methodologies

**Day-to-day Operations**
- Oversee day-to-day the overall integration development activities according to the agreed plans and engagements in different initiates and projects
- Oversee and maintain updated and ready capabilities for the owned integration technologies and resources to ensure support for emerging needs in the bank
- Manage integration Development Engineers’ teams support their growth and assist their day-to-day work
- Manage integration development engineering engagements in different divisions and departments projects across the bank and allocation of resources as per agreed plans and priorities
- Provide leadership and Manage subordinate groups, units, and teams
- Develop processes and approaches to enhance the quality of deliverables further and expedite delivery speed
- Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Communicate the progress of the committed activities to the relevant
- stakeholders inside and outside the enterprise data management department
- Oversee the practices of Integration Development Engineering and build capabilities to ensure readiness and scalability of integration Development resources, processes & technologies.
- Direct the best utilization of integration Development engineering capabilities in driving business value
- Participate in different tactical committees from the bank’s strategic big initiatives, programs, and projects

**Data Integration Development**
- Oversee and plan maximum developer productivity, operational reusability, and data integration performance that ultimately shortens the time to value for business needs
- Plan and manage data integration development resources and tools to integrate and support all different types of data management platforms such as EDW, Big Data, Operational Data Store
- Direct the planning and execution of Integration Development and implementation activities and solutions
- Plan data development tools acquisition
- Plan and manage the engagement of data integration engineers and resources in business changes through the SDLC process
- Develop roadmaps, strategies, and plans for data Integration development targets and engagement responsibilities in different projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain optimal delivery approaches to serve different needs with a focus on balancing cost, complexity, and risks to achieve business outcomes
- Grow and boost Integration Development Engineering services and operations to increase efficiency and productivity
- Plan and ensure the coverage and capacity of Integration Development Engineering services across the bank
- Manages the relationship with the different stakeholders to ensure business interests & understanding are considered in the provided Integration Development services
- Plan and manage the delivery capabilities of data integration Development for strategic projects and initiatives

**Transfer of Knowledge and Communication**
- Promote data as an enterprise asset and participate in increasing the awareness of data impact in the bank
- Coach and educate data Integration Development Engineers about the importance of Data and Information in driving business value
