We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate activities within your designated kitchen section
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and development
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor and control food costs within your section
- Assist in inventory management and placing orders for supplies
- Participate in menu tastings and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Ensure timely and efficient food service during peak hours

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience of 2-3 years as a Chef de Partie or in a similar culinary role
- Strong cooking skills with expertise in various cuisines and cooking techniques
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution (preferred)
- Creativity in dish presentation and menu development
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
- Proficiency in kitchen management software and inventory systems (preferred)
