The Lead Design Engineer is responsible for undertaking mechanical engineering activities related to Surface Pressure Control (SPC) products and technology.

As Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of projects related to the mechanical design of Surface Wellhead Equipment as casing heads, hangers and packoffs using the standards related with oil industry, procedures and product requirements
- Development of structural analysis (Finite Element Analysis)
- Provide technical engineering support to improve or resolve design, performance, manufacturing, or field issues
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Monitor, communicate and present project status, technical data, significant issues or developments to internal and external customers
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor others in the organization
- Lead the implementation of innovative analysis design, development concepts of processes and systems
- Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams, mentor others in the organization

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 6 years of experience, or Master’s degree with minimum 4 years of experience
- Have at least 4 years of experience in an engineering position (preferably on Oil Field Equipment Design)
- Have Mechanical / structural analytical and numerical design techniques
- Have Proven structural analysis experience (Finite Element Analysis)
- English Level for fluent Communication
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Proven analytical and organizational ability
- Experience with API 6A, NACE and other related oil industry specifications
- Familiarity with 3D CAD Modeling software (Creo Parametric preferred)
