The Finance Manager will manage, perform, and deliver the Financial Management Reporting required by the Wood Al Hejailan partnership.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Leadership of the Management Reporting requirements including report definitions, clearly defined and formatted information requirements and timetables for contributors, effective planning and coordination to prepare and deliver reports at the required deadlines and quality
- Be fully conversant with actual month end financial reports and handover from the accounting team to ensure consistency with forecast and budget preparation and comparatives.
- Prepare partnership report for month actual and year to date actual for P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Supplementary analysis
- Coordinate Management Review of Contact Level Performance Reports and steer consistency with monthly partnership report and Wood hyperion
- Prepare the Annual Budget (August
- September) and the Annual Mid-Year Foreast (April-May): Format and schedule requirements for assumptions required from the business and the accounting team, Model the budget in Excel and review the Excel Budget output with the CFO/GM, Saudi partners and Wood Middle East Senior Vice-President, Agree the partnership budget (ExcelFormat), Upload detailed data from Excel to Wood Hyperion (see below), Prepare variance analysis for Wood (Wood Hyperion
- Upload Budget and Mid-Year Forecast data into Wood Hyperion separately for Conventional Energy Service Line and Process & Chemicals Service line and complete the detailed data validations: Billable Hours, Non
- Billable Hours, Utilisation and Billability Ratios, Order Backlog Values, Revenue and Direct Costs per Contract, Indirect Overhead costs, General and Administrative costs, Headcount, Capex, DSO, Specific Balance Sheet and Cash data.
- Manage Rolling Forecast updates: prepare, review, analyse andreport to partnership in detail and coordinate high level outlook to Wood (not required for Wood Hyperion)
- Maintain and Develop concise supplementary reports that are required by the Steering Committee and Saudi Partners to explain the month and year to date actual results (Overheads analysis, Aged Receivables, Key Balance Sheet Accounts, Overhead Recovery Analysis, Provisions, Backlog, Billabilty, Utilisation, New Opportunities in the Forecast or Budget). Prepare monthly analysis of Actual Cash Flow and Cash Flow by month forecast to Year End
- Prepare Balance Sheet report at each month end that provides information on Key Balance Sheet Items such as (Ageing of Receivables and Accrued Sales, Client Retentions, Revenue deferred for performance obligations, Provisions, Amounts due/from Affiliates, Other topical issues.

Qualifications:

- Professionally qualified accountant chartered by an internationally recognised chartered accountancy institute

Knowledge, skills and experience:

- Considerable experience of corporate management reporting at a senior level for a high market value public limited company which is required to provide financial information to a leading financial stock exchange and the company’s investors.
- Strong financial and management accounting experience
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Hyperion sklills
- Financial and commercial knowledge and organisational knowledge of a multi national engineering services company
