The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager main purpose is to oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a sustainable system of quality and reliability testing for the organizations products and/or development processes, while exceed customer satisfactions by providing best quality standards.
**Accountabilities**
- Develop and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, process and product stability via SPC, and reliability of company products.
- Lead and participate leading various projects relating to compliance & regulatory initiatives.
- Conducting on-going research of auditing standards, guidance or industry best practices communicated by various audit institutes, regulators or consulting firms, including performing impact analysis and reporting/presenting results to senior management.
- Liaising with regulators and other 3rd parties during external reviews of SFDA, including providing draft responses to recommendations and implementing agreed upon action plans.
- Delivering solutions to multiple initiatives having key dependencies and conflicting / changing timelines with only a finite number of resources available.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Review all deviations and/or concerns involving commercial products, including, but not limited to, regulatory inspections, complaints, adverse events, non-conforming products, make appropriate notification to manager and propose remedies
- Manage and develop Quality Assurances practices aligning with company strategies and tactics in respect to ISOs 9001,14001 & 13485 and best practices enabling compliance with policies, regulations, and laws.
- Conduct internal trainings & recommend external to maximize knowledge, efficiency & maintain productive culture.
- Compile and develop procedures for continuous project progress.
- Periodically inspect completed quality checklists, forms, and other documents
- Review and manage quality problems/concerns with quality control personnel and others including vendors, customers, and any personnel related to production
- Provides leadership and support to process excellence initiatives including six-sigma, design excellence and lean thinking
- Provides review and approval for the release of new equipment ensuring quality requirements are met, including design verification and validation, process validation, risk management, design transfer and design review
- Overseeing the day-to-day activities of operations and Quality team, including monitoring adherence to HR policies, managing and escalating team issues and monitoring team performance with respect to established goals and objectives.
- Manage and perform internal audit activities and external audit with certified bodies toward the objective of achieving and maintaining current certifications related to ISOs or MDMS
- Developing customer satisfaction goals and coordinating with the team to meet them on a steady basis.
- Responsible to achieve customer service quality results by conducting surveys and studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, establishing and communicating service metrics and monitoring and analyzing results.
- Responsible for analyzing data and generating monthly dashboards/reports to ensure inventory accuracy and undertake analysis on inventory levels, aging, and obsolescence.
- Responsible for identifying the root cause of all inventory adjustments
Employee’s duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned
