**Job Summary**:
Mainly involved in the overall demand and supply planning activities of raw materials, packaging and merchandise/traded goods. Also manage and control the inventory levels of all materials within his/her scope with acceptable level of dysfunctional stocks and ensure demand and supply bottlenecks are promptly addressed in the planning process

**Responsibilities**:
**Demand Planning**:

- Lead S&OP meetings, prepare Pre-S&OP works, ensure S&OP process applied
- Consolidate all data needed to create the demand plan such as historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, budget sales targets and inventory targeted levels.
- Translate raw sales forecasts into final demand plans to be used in capacity planning, production planning and inventory planning
- Ensure visibility is provided to the supply chain on unexpected demand or events through the demand signaling process.
- Collect demand input from all sources
- Review ABC/XYZ products
- Document significant market risks associated with updated Demand plan
- Achieve consensus agreement of demand plans

**Supply Planning**:

- Manage master production plan, make sure process runs thru MRP results
- SAP MRP maturity to be at least 99% and reacts on exceptions
- Check purchase requisitions generation, follow-up in case of issues, and make sure conversions to POs happen on time
- Creates and sends out to stakeholder’s monthly reports on supply chain performance of the respective FG, MERCH & RM.
- Assumes accountability for overall supply planning performance (stock availability, inventory levels, slow movers) for dedicated materials groups
- Leads the management and resolution of supply chain bottlenecks
- Establishes and maintains safety stock and inventory balances appropriate to meet production requirements but at lowest feasible levels. Initiates and determines disposition of excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventories, and coordination of shelf-life extension with relevant quality department and warehouses.
- Coordinates activities and workflow (finished goods, raw material, and packaging) with operational schedulers to ensure production and material handling are aligned. Resolves materials management issues causing deviations.
- Interacts and co-ordinates with manufacturing for regular review of production abidance with the plan.
- Manages supply planning activities related to the phase-in and phase-out of finished goods and raw materials.
- During budgeting, collects next year demand by technology to assess the available capacity and provides guidance on bottlenecks or risks. Per technology, gives indication to purchasing of general trends in future raw material consumptions
- Master data - update MRP master data (e.g. safety stock, lead times, Make-to Strategy, MOQs) based upon rules

**Inventory and service monitoring and balancing**:

- Analyses and follows-up outstanding customer and intercompany orders, inventory deviations from targets, non-saleable and maximum shelf-life period (MSP) stocks and on-time/late shipments
- Ensures that full demand requirements are considered in the production plan Determines optimal settings for supply planning parameters (such as safety stock level and planning strategy). Initiates updates on the supply planning master data where necessary.

**Communication & Exception Handling**:

- Tracks & communicates proactively with internal and external suppliers about major deviations in supply and demand balance.
- Communicates proactively all stakeholders regarding and deviations or expected delays
- Handles urgent orders/ exception requests from business
- Handles unexpected product availability issues

**Educational Qualifications and Experience**:
**Education: Education & Training required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience within a similar role
- Excellent knowledge in SAP.
