**QC/QA Engineers (Civil/Architect) - Saudi Arabia**

A construction company provides general contracting services for building construction, renovations, and infrastructure. It has diversified its project portfolio, spanning various sectors such as industrial, distribution, manufacturing, office, retail, recreational, healthcare, and commercial across the kingdom. Furthermore, it has recently joined a larger engineering services group, prioritizing value-added construction services, and has successfully completed over SR 3 billion worth of construction across 60 projects, emphasizing strong customer relationships and outstanding performance.

**Work Location**:Dammam (Sites), Saudi Arabia

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Proficiently understand all project contract documents from the tender phase to project closure.
- Conduct daily on-site surveillance, identify and document deficiencies, and communicate these effectively to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to their Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), oversee consultant-led inspections, and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive inspection schedule in line with the project timeline.
- Perform inspections in collaboration with execution teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Verify material inspections for compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and submit various schedules and submittals, including method statements and material submittals.
- Oversee third-party inspections and tests, ensuring project requirements compliance and reporting outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all submittals.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of Civil works relevant to the project.
- Collaborate on corrective actions for Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and deficiencies, maintaining records of analyses and lessons learned.
- Analyze QA QC activities, prepare trend reports, and communicate findings to the QA QC Manager and project team.
- Conduct internal inspections to verify the implementation of preventive actions for site NCRs.
- Knowledgeable in local and international standards (e.g., Saudi building code, SASO, ASTM, ACI, AISC).
- Review weekly and monthly deliverables, including progress and resubmissions, and report on project QA QC documentation.
- Understand project closeout procedures and facilitate the submission of closeout deliverables.
- Coordinate and conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections.
- Lead and guide the inspection team to achieve project goals.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Architect Engineering.
- Professional Engineering License is a plus.
- 7-10 years of experience in quality assurance and control within construction projects.
- In-depth understanding of quality control practices and methods.
- Outstanding abilities in communication, leadership, and organization.
- Skilled in detailed documentation and record management.
- Competence in working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
