**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design Leadership and Vision**:

- Lead the design team to create visually compelling and innovative signage that aligns with client objectives and brand standards.
- Develop and maintain a strong creative vision for all design projects, fostering a culture of creativity and quality.
- **Team Management and Development**:

- Manage, mentor, and inspire the design team, providing guidance on design best practices, project execution, and professional development.
- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and facilitate training to ensure continuous growth and skill enhancement within the team.
- **Project Management and Coordination**:

- Oversee the entire design process from concept through to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
- Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and other departments to ensure designs are practical, achievable, and within budget.
- **Client Interaction and Relationship Building**:

- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, brand guidelines, and project requirements, translating these into impactful design concepts.
- Present design concepts and prototypes to clients, gathering feedback and adjusting as necessary to meet client expectations.
- **Quality Control and Standards**:

- Establish and uphold design standards, ensuring that all projects meet the company’s quality benchmarks and industry’s best practices.
- Conduct design reviews and critiques, providing constructive feedback to enhance quality and alignment with project goals.
- **Innovation and Trend Analysis**:

- Stay current with design trends, materials, and technology within the signage and graphic design industry.
- Encourage and implement innovative design solutions that differentiate the company from competitors and add value for clients.
- **Resources and Budget Management**:

- Oversee the allocation of resources and manage the design budget to ensure efficient use of time and materials.
- Recommend investments in new design tools, software, and materials that enhance the team’s capabilities and productivity.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Continuously evaluate and improve design processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure seamless workflow from concept to production.
- Implement design tools, templates, and other resources to optimize team output and streamline the design process.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the signage, advertising, or related industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in signage design and knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and installation processes.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), CAD software, and other relevant tools.
