**Job Purpose**:
To support the accurate recording and maintenance of the company’s fixed assets by assisting with data entry, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with accounting standards and internal procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in recording fixed asset transactions including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
- Support the preparation and posting of fixed asset journal entries under supervision.
- Perform routine reconciliations of fixed asset sub-ledger with the general ledger.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers to ensure complete and accurate records.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets.
- Coordinate documentation collection for internal and external audits.
- Help prepare fixed asset schedules and reports for review.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data.

**Policies, Processes & Reporting**:

- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines to ensure consistency and control.
- Support timely and accurate fixed asset reporting as required by the finance department.

**Safety, Quality & Environment**:

- Comply with safety and quality standards to contribute to a secure and efficient work environment.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to improve fixed asset recordkeeping and processing.
- Suggest methods to streamline asset tracking and reporting.

**Stakeholders**:

- **Internal**: Senior Accountant - Fixed Assets, FP&A, Internal Audit, Commercial, Projects
- **External**: External Auditors (supporting role)

**Skills & Core Competencies**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Accountability and ownership of tasks.
- Team-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
- Learning agility to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with fixed asset exposure.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.

**Job Type**: Contract

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Riyadh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- in fixed asset accounting and recordkeeping: 5 years (required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP /ERP systems: 5 years (required)
- performing reconciliations and month-year-end closings: 5 years (required)
- Familiarity with accounting principles and compliance: 5 years (required)
