This role will Support Packaging function by coordinating and independently leading Plant trials for qualification of primary & secondary packaging materials and suppliers. Capable of independently leading projects and effectively co-ordinating with local, regional and global cross-functional teams.

**Note: this position will be contracted through our third-party manpower provider for a duration of one year.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with assigned technical & packaging related projects across business at PepsiCo and 3rd part manufacturing sites.
- Proactively support Packaging /Brand to meet AOP and PSP goals.
- Lead on line trials to define technical pack/carton size requirements for all new and modified products and ensure that all promotions comply with PI standards
- Capable of independently managing, analysing and presenting specifications and trial results
- Support Packaging team in productivity projects for on-time execution in business
- Support R&D agenda in troubleshooting key packaging related issues and handle process capability studies.
- Competent at result analysis, report making, result compilation and presentations for deep dive on quality issues etc.
- Manage & keep specification updated as per Regional/Global templates and share with key stake holders regularly.

- The R&D function operates as a key support function within a fast paced and continually evolving business environment.
- The role allows opportunity to control R&D trial expenditure against a given project
- Working within cross-functional project teams (e.g. alongside Marketing, Operations etc)
