A. Key Responsibilities

Lead traffic engineering design and studies for the Riyadh North-South Corridor, including corridor capacity modelling and intersection optimisation.

Develop and validate traffic simulation models (VISSIM, Aimsun) to forecast peak‑period flows and queuing.

Prepare junction layouts, signal timing plans, and capacity analyses in Synchro/CORSIM.

Coordinate with civil, structural, and environmental teams to integrate traffic elements into overall project design.

Review contractor submissions for compliance with traffic specifications and FIDIC requirements.

B. Technical Competencies

Software Proficiency: VISSIM, Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS

Standards & Methodologies: AASHTO Green Book, MUTCD, FIDIC Red Book specifications, Saudi Aramco and RCRC guidelines

Data Analysis: Traffic count data collection and QA/QC, calibration of simulation models, sensitivity analyses

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Riyadh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
