We are seeking a visionary **Associate Director - Design** to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will lead design initiatives that enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of our projects, aligning with our commitment to excellence and innovation.

Your expertise will play a key role in developing comprehensive design strategies that reflect the unique character of Qiddiya while adhering to the highest standards of sustainability. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of architects, planners, and engineers to realize a cohesive vision for our diverse projects, ensuring that each design contributes to an engaging public experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design process for various projects, from conceptual design to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timeline, quality, and budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to develop design briefs, research, and implement innovative solutions that push boundaries and elevate user experiences.
- Manage and mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative working environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
- Review design proposals and deliverables to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with project objectives.
- Engage in stakeholder consultations to incorporate feedback and align project designs with community needs and expectations.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate forward-thinking design approaches and sustainability practices into projects.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Design, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6-10 years of professional experience in design management, preferably in large-scale or mixed-use projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, including innovative and high-quality design solutions.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and a strong understanding of the latest design technologies.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- A strong understanding of building codes, planning regulations, and sustainability principles.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
