**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Awareness Officer to join our dynamic team. As the Security Awareness Officer, you will play a critical role in enhancing our organization's security posture by developing and implementing comprehensive security awareness programs. You will be responsible for educating employees on best practices for safeguarding sensitive information, promoting a culture of security awareness, and mitigating security risks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement security awareness programs to educate employees on information security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Create engaging training materials, presentations, and resources to communicate security awareness concepts effectively.
- Conduct regular security awareness training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify security awareness needs and tailor training programs accordingly.
- Continuously enhance security awareness initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security awareness programs through metrics, feedback, and assessments.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding security-related inquiries and incidents.
- Foster a culture of security consciousness and accountability across the organization through ongoing communication and reinforcement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering security awareness programs within a corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence behaviour change.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS,ISO..).
