Unilode owns and manages the world’s largest fleet of approximately 160,000 unit load devices (ULDs), for use in the aviation industry, and owns and operates the largest global network for the maintenance and repair of ULDs and inflight food service equipment. Unilode provides management, repair, short term leasing and digitalisation solutions to over 90 airlines through a network of more than 550 airports, 18 regional offices and 50 certified repair stations, supported by 800+ employees.

**Position**

The Workshop Manager will oversee and support the daily operations of the repair shop, ensure customers are re-charged and that repairs are completed per the appropriate standards (regulatory and non-regulatory).

**Overview of Responsibilities**
- Ensuring all work on aircraft components is performed to the standards specified and the procedures stated in the Part 145 and OEM requirements.
- Focusing on creating a quality culture and implementing any corrective action resulting from the quality compliance monitoring.
- Quoting / estimating repair work to customers.
- Achieving operational budgets and KPI's.
- Ensure there are adequate spares holdings for the facilities operations.
- Ensure all GSE repairs are performed to the specified standards and procedures.
- Inspect ground support vehicles and equipment to determine if repairs are needed.
- Troubleshoot issues or problems with vehicles and machinery, as necessary.
- Track inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain repair log for vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain contracts and liaise with major customers.
- Maintain relationships with Suppliers and Contractors.
- Maintaining staffing levels, including hire and performance management of local staff.
- Ensuring all staff training and training records are completed and staff are assessed and issued with Unilode approvals.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Practical experience in Part 145 MRO field.
- Supervisory experience.
- Strong business acumen, communication and negotiation skills with customers and suppliers.
- Strong staff development and team performance track record.
- Solid knowledge of employee relations laws and workplace regulations.

- Ability to work independently with limited supervision while retaining oversight of group goals as a team member.
- Experience with employee recruitment and performance management.
