**Position Title**: Senior Irrigation Engineer
**Work Location/Term**: Riyadh, KSA / Full-time
**Supervision**: Design review and Supervision, Sitemanagement
**In Absence Replaced By**: Senior Project Manager / Irrigation Engineer
**Reports to**: Construction Director

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop detailed irrigation system designs that meet the project’s landscaping requirements, focusing on water efficiency and sustainability.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of irrigation systems, ensuring they are executed according to approved designs and within project timelines.
- Coordinate with landscape architects and other engineers to ensure the irrigation systems are integrated seamlessly with the park’s overall design.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure the durability and functionality of the irrigation systems.
- Ensure all irrigation installations comply with local environmental regulations and water use standards.
- Regularly assess and optimize the irrigation systems to improve water use efficiency and reduce operational costs.

**Competency Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Senior Irrigation Engineer in large-scale landscape projects.
- Hands-on experience in irrigation system design, installation supervision, and quality control processes.
- Strong understanding of irrigation technologies and water management practices within the context of international PMC contracts.
- Knowledge of local environmental regulations related to water use.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and project management tools.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural, Civil, or Irrigation Engineering.
- **Language Skills**: English is mandatory.
- **Professional Experience**: 15 years of experience in irrigation engineering; Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
- **Other Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal & written).
- Strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to project management.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring the highest quality of irrigation systems.
