As a
**Data Engineer** at EPAM, you will work alongside our technical team to develop data architectures, data pipelines, and data modelling that support big data and predictive analytics solutions. Your role will involve managing and organizing data, while also conducting analytical processing and data modelling. This position requires a strong understanding of data analytics and an innovative mindset to solve unique data-related problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, construct, install, test and maintain highly scalable data management systems
- Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production
- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects
- Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices
- Conduct research for industry and business questions
- Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production
- Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role
- Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc
- Experience with one of the cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS, OCI)
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with other programming languages (Java, Python)
- Knowledge of data modeling principles and best practices
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and data visualization tools is a plus
