An investment company is looking for an Asset Management Director to lead Asset Management with a vision to sustain solid market shares in the industry. He will be responsible for leading all functions of the asset management department. He will be devising department strategy that entails development of new and attractive investment products in all asset classes. He will be be an active member of the senior management team of the Company and help the institute achieve its long-term strategic objectives, and goals. He will prepare the annual investment plans and budgets.

The investment company is active in asset management, real estate, and private equity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strategic:_
- Responsible for leading all functions of the asset management department.
- Devising department strategy that entails development of new and attractive investment products in all asset classes.
- Be an active member of the senior management team of the Company and help the institute achieve its long-term strategic objectives and goals. Prepare the annual investment plans and budgets.
- Functional / Operational:_
- Implementing robust investment process based on research-driven approach which generates long-term out-performance on a consistent basis.
- Client and Customers: _
- Working closely with Wealth Management team to attract new business. Making joint call to the potential and existing clients.
- Administrative Management:_
- Ensuring department policy and procedures are updated and implemented.
- People:_
- Ensuring in-house development of all staff of Asset Management and sending them for appropriate training to enhance their technical knowledge.
- Risk & Control:_
- All functions are in accordance with Risk and Audit requirements. All audit observations are implemented as agreed in due course of time.
- Compliance & Regulatory: _
- Interacting with regulatory as and when needed.
- Ensuring all Asset Management functions and products are in compliance with all compliance & regulatory requirements.
- Quality:_
- Ensuring quality of the team and work is never compromised.

**Requirements**:

- Good financial and macroeconomic knowledge.
- Deep knowledge of the Asset Management sector, and competitor’s capabilities.
- Sufficient analytical and financial tools.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor Degree in Finance.
- MBA, CFA is preferable.
- CME-1 is a must.
- Minimum 10 Years in the Industry.
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in a decision making position.
