The Electrical Supervisor - Maintenance is responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical maintenance activities within the manufacturing plant. This includes overseeing maintenance teams, ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment, and minimizing downtime through effective planning and troubleshooting. The role focuses on maintaining high equipment reliability, enforcing safety protocols, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage electrical maintenance technicians in day-to-day operations.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of manufacturing equipment by planning and executing preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to production machinery, including motors, PLCs, drives, relays, sensors, control panels, and automation systems.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, NEC).
- Maintain and update electrical schematics, technical documentation, and maintenance logs using CMMS.
- Collaborate with production, mechanical maintenance, and engineering teams to support plant uptime goals.
- Manage and control electrical spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement.
- Plan and execute electrical projects, upgrades, and machine installations.
- Train maintenance staff on safe electrical practices and new technologies.
- Support continuous improvement (CI), lean manufacturing, and energy efficiency initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electrical Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8-10 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, automation, and control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi PLCs).
- Hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), HMIs, and power distribution systems.
- Proficient in reading electrical diagrams, schematics, and interpreting technical manuals.
- Working knowledge of CMMS software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, Infor).
- Familiarity with safety regulations such as OSHA, LOTO, arc flash standards, and NFPA 70E.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
