WSP are seeking a highly experienced Structural Design Reviewer to join our team for a major airport infrastructure project in Riyadh. This role will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and compliance of design submissions in line with project requirements, local regulations, and international standards.
**Your new role, what's involved?**
- Conduct detailed structural design reviews of drawings, calculations, and specifications for airport infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), international codes (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes), and project specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to design teams and stakeholders.
- Identify potential design risks, clashes, and constructability issues, proposing feasible solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, MEP engineers, and geotechnical specialists.
- Ensure quality assurance and control (QA/QC) of structural designs, materials, and methodologies.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate design approvals.
- Support the review of value engineering proposals and cost-effective design solutions.
- Assist in the resolution of technical queries and design modifications during project execution.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- 10+ years of experience in structural design and review, with a focus on airport projects.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures, seismic design, and foundation systems.
- Experience in design review processes, risk assessments, and compliance verification.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000).
- Familiarity with BIM and digital design review tools is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
