**The Role**

The primary responsibility of the project engineer is to manage the project lifecycle from end-to-end following project award. The project engineer will assist with establishing customer requirements, raise orders and coordinate preparation of equipment, services and personnel to meet customer requirements, liaising with the customer throughout.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Coordinate with Tender department with regards to customer enquiries, offer technical support and evaluate efficiently
- Raise order sheets/carry out tech reviews and liaise with operations.
- Liaise with procurement department to procure materials/3rd party services and non-stock equipment required completing purchase requisitions.
- Update the Production schedule.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive and up to date project folder for each assigned project, thereby creating a full auditable trail as required by company management procedures to maintain company QHSE accreditation.
- Ensure any applicable and appropriate documentation packages are prepared.
- Participation in meetings with customers (on and off site) and resolve actions resultant from such meetings.
- Accountable for the successful delivery of assigned project on schedule and within budget.
- Keep up to date with current technical knowledge across the product range and be aware of legislative and other industry standards.
- Liaise with others to arrange for technicians to mobilize as required and conduct pre and post mobilization briefs
- Support the client throughout the life cycle of the project with documentation, deck plans & technical support.
- Manage assigned project budget margins.
- Update revenue estimates and aid to close out invoicing

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
- Mechanical Engineer preferably with hydraulic knowledge of lifting equipment, mooring equipment, towing winches, pneumatic winches and marine cranes etc.
- Appropriate technical qualification or relevant experience
- Previous experience in similar rental or project team environment
- Knowledge and understanding of Energy sector
