**Expert Network Engineer**

**He will be responsible for the architecture and design of network infrastructure across the LAN, WAN, Data Centers, Internet, and Extranets.**

**He is also a key stakeholder in projects implementation and problem management.**

**Performs capacity, hardware, and software analysis.**

**Performs architectural designs and implementation of the network infrastructure.**

**Acts as Level 3 support for handling complex issues.**

**Participate in 24 X 7 on-call rotation for support.**

**Generate network monitoring and performance reports.**

**Recommends network design changes for enhanced system availability and performance.**

**Responsible for evaluating, installing, and supporting network systems.**

**Evaluates network requirements and capabilities related to user and business needs and make recommendations.**

**Establishes and documents standards for network architecture, and plan and coordinate total network integration.**

**Coordinates third-party maintenance for network equipment.**

**Responsible for evaluating new technologies and conducting proof of concepts with vendors.**

**Responsible for continuous implementation of new technologies, developing robust architectures to support key business initiatives.**

**Participates in various IT projects and interacts with other IT departments for gathering requirements.**

**Responsible for creating and maintenance.**

**SKILLS & COMPETENCIES**

**Advanced understanding of TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN architecture and routing protocols.**

**Experience in industry standard networking platforms, such as Cisco.**

**Extensive experience in LAN, WAN and Data Center networks.**

**Experience with telecommunication carrier technologies**

**Experience using network management tools to analyse, monitor and troubleshoot network related problems**

**Aptitude for learning new network technologies and troubleshooting techniques.**

**Technical minded with strong problem analysis and solving skills.**

**Ability to render clear documentation and system specifications from interviews, discussions, and workshops.**

**Capable of performing tasks in dynamic, changing situations and under stress.**

**Good communication skills.**

**Willingness to grow and expand capabilities, interests, and competencies through self-learning.**

**Team spirit with the ability to act as a self-motivated team player / leader.**

**Excellent written & verbal communication skills.**

**Customer focused.**

**Cross-cultural awareness.**

**expert with minimum 7 year of experience for expats and 4 years experience for Saudis**
