Manager, Fm Safety

Key Accountabilities:

- Lead the team in providing expert support and operational safety advice across Ma'aden.
- Oversee operational incident investigations, particularly Class 1, and assist with Class 2 and 3 high-potential incidents.
- Develop and enhance policies and standards for utilizing fault tree analysis and other root cause analysis (RCA) tools.
- Formulate, improve, and evaluate the effectiveness of Ma'aden's operational safety audit and assurance policies, standards, and procedures. Provide clear guidance on all related requirements.
- Lead the FM Safety Team in creating audit protocols, conducting safety audits, and preparing detailed audit reports.
- Develop and refine operational safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Plan, implement, and assess the effectiveness of health and wellbeing initiatives focused on operational safety.
- Provide expert guidance on risk assessment procedures, management of change, and EHSS controls relevant to operational safety.
- Lead the team in crafting and disseminating communications related to operational safety, including incident briefings and updates through various channels, in alignment with Ma'aden’s policies.
- Manage and develop assigned staff and consultants through coaching, mentoring, and setting performance expectations.
- Translate strategic operational safety programs into actionable communication strategies across multiple stakeholders.Identify and engage key Corporate EHSS stakeholders relevant to operational safety.
- Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Minimum Experience:

- Experience - 15 Years' of related experience with at least 5 years in leading EHSS Support and Audits and Assurance functions.
- Experience with leading organizations in KSA is preferred.
