As the Architectural Advisory Service Manager, your role is to oversee and manage all aspects of the architectural advisory service within the designated Middle East Territories. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and consultation to external customers and influencers, ensuring the effective promotion and utilization of products and systems.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Monitor team strengths, weaknesses, and call rates, taking appropriate action to optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure the full range of products for the Middle East market is offered.
- Schedule and oversee visits of the Architectural Advisory Team to customers and specifiers/influencers, ensuring objectives are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to actively seek new business opportunities.
- Provide timely updates on relevant market developments and team issues to the Commercial Manager.
- Facilitate clear communication among relevant departments and stakeholders.
- Maintain a professional image and ensure the same for Architectural Advisory Team members.
- Keep personnel informed about company policies and strategies, collaborating with the Commercial Manager.
- Coordinate necessary training with the Technical Department and Commercial Manager for the Architectural Advisory Service personnel.
- Conduct joint visits with team members to offer support and maintain a positive attitude.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance support for the Architectural Advisory field team.
**External Sales - Architectural Advisory Service**:
- Promote products and systems to influencers and decision-makers within the designated territory.
- Develop a project pipeline of specified projects.
- Identify suitable Metal Fabricator customers for new projects.
- Follow up with Metal Fabricator customers on project progress and turnover.
**Knowledge & Skills Required**:
- Previous experience in dealing with architects and familiarity with facade or related products.
- Understanding of construction industry processes and technical issues.
- Technical background with the ability to produce technical drawings.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and diplomacy.
- Self-motivated with commercial awareness and judgment.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and/or English.
- Relevant qualification in engineering or architecture.
