Dell Brocade San Director

We are seeking an experienced **Brocade SAN Director** to provide expert-level support for **Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure**, with a focus on **Brocade switches, Dell EMC storage, and data center networking**. This role requires hands-on expertise in **Brocade Fabric OS (FOS), SAN zoning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting** to ensure **high availability, security, and efficiency** of storage networking solutions in mission-critical environments.

**Responsibilities**
- **Perform regular health checks** on **Brocade SAN switches**, including log analysis, firmware verification, and proactive issue identification.
- **Configure, manage, and troubleshoot SAN zoning**, port configurations, and inter-switch links (ISLs) to optimize storage connectivity.
- **Perform firmware upgrades** on Brocade SAN switches, ensuring proper testing, rollback planning, and mínimal downtime.
- **Troubleshoot complex SAN performance issues**, including latency, congestion, and path redundancy, using Brocade Network Advisor (BNA) and command-line diagnostics.
- **Replace and upgrade Field Replaceable Units (FRUs) and Customer Replaceable Units (CRUs)** on Brocade switches and Dell EMC storage hardware.
- **Collaborate with storage and server teams** to ensure seamless SAN connectivity with Dell EMC storage systems such as PowerMax, Unity, and PowerScale.
- **Provide Level 2/3 support** for escalations, working closely with **Brocade (Broadcom) TAC and Dell EMC support** for complex issue resolution.
- **Maintain detailed inventory and documentation** of SAN hardware, software versions, and configurations.
- **Lead knowledge transfer sessions** for customers on best practices in SAN administration, troubleshooting, and security hardening.
- **Support data center migrations and expansions**, ensuring seamless integration of new Brocade SAN switches and storage arrays.

**Qualifications (Must-Have)**

Minimum **5 years of hands-on experience** managing and supporting **Brocade SAN switches in enterprise environments**.
Strong expertise in **Brocade Fabric OS (FOS), SAN zoning, WWN management, and multipathing configurations**.
Experience with **firmware upgrades, ISL configurations, and high-availability SAN architectures**.
Deep knowledge of **Dell EMC storage systems (PowerMax, Unity, PowerScale, PowerProtect, or VMAX)**.
Experience working in **large-scale data centers, enterprise IT environments, or financial sector infrastructure**.
Ability to work **on-site with emergency after-hours support** when required.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- **Brocade Certified SAN Specialist (BCSS) or Brocade Certified SAN Designer (BCSD)** certification.
- Experience with **Cisco MDS SAN switches** (as an additional skill).
- Familiarity with **VMware storage integration, multipathing (MPIO), and FC-NVMe architectures**.
- **CompTIA Storage+ or equivalent SAN certification**.
- Prior experience as a **Brocade SAN Engineer, SAN Administrator, or Storage Consultant**.
