Nursing Quality Improvement Coordinator

Worksin partnership with relevant stakeholders to drive practice resulting in theprovision of high quality patient care across area of responsibility and toensure international accreditation standards are met and maintained.
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
Facilitates development of multidisciplinary collaborative teams for ongoing Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement, and Risk Management activities. Prepares and presents reports on problem resolution, new concerns, and quality of patient care.- Collects and analyses data and makes recommendations for improvement and facilitates change.- Develops or recommends materials, forms, and other tools to evaluate current processes.- Collects and analyses data from Nursing Incident Reports and other data such as medical records to identify opportunities to improve nursing practices and patient care.- Participates in retention of all staff across Nursing Affairs. Supports retention of all staff to meet the area specific turnover rate goal.- Supports increasing the number of Saudi nurses across the organization and in Nursing Quality Improvement.- Works in partnership with relevant stakeholders in achieving measured success in improving nursing specific clinical quality outcome indicator. Provides up to date trend information to support achievement of nursing strategic objectives.- Contributes to the development and delivery of Nursing Affairs objectives using a continuous improvement paradigm. Works creatively to achieve objectives by embracing new ways of working and taking the lead in the change management process when appropriate.- Promotes and maintains effective communication and teamwork. Treats colleagues, patients, and visitors with dignity and respect at all times.- Supports the recruitment of staff to area and assists in developing competence and performance. Acts as a mentor for new staff as they develop competence.- Develops and sustains documented evidence of performance and maintenance of skills consistent with position.- Collaborates with Quality Management on quality related issues.- Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.- Participates in self and other’s education, training and development, as applicable.- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Education**:
Master’sor Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
**Experience Required**:
Four(4) years of nursing experience with Master’s Degree or six (6) years withBachelor’s Degree is required.
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Licensure is required.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) or any related Healthcare Quality certificate is preferred.
