General Manager

**Description**:
1. Supports Companies CEO to deliver the Vision and Strategy of the Board and the Shareholders as it applies to the Machinery Business Division.

2. Develops in coordination with Companies CEO and Business Unit Managers an integrated business plan supported with forecasts and budgets.

3. Responsible for the implementation of the agreed plan and achieving the agreed goals and objectives, working with the respective Business Unit Managers on attaining such goals by monitoring their operations, performance and results.

4. Provides Companies CEO with monthly reports concerning financial and operational results in addition to updates on strategic plan progress.

5. Develops and implements a process of continuous market and product research to ensure that the Machinery Division continues to position itself as the leader in its sector.

6. Manage strategic procurement to achieve the best results for the Division through proactive relationships management and smart procurement / contracting strategies.

7. Ensures the development of an effective organizational structure and the promotion of a positive internal culture in which succession is nurtured.

8. Reviews the operating results of all Business Units; compares them to established objectives, and follows-up to ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.

9.Safeguards Companies interests and controls the financial, operational, and business development activities to accomplish annual objectives and targets.

10. Implements the approved management structure to manage centralized and

de-centralized activity in the most efficient manner.

11. Directs the development and implementation of all required policies, procedures

and processes, and monitors regular updates and modifications.

12. Ensures full compliance with the approved Authority Matrix throughout the

Division.

13. Develop and implements the Division Sales and Marketing Strategy working in

conjunction with all Business Unit Managers.

14. Ensures that the Business Units are operating to maximum efficiency and in the most profitable manner.

15. Create and develop a sustainable Showrooms and Corporates Business Models that deliver new market share, revenues and multiple product mix alternatives to the Division.

16. Establishes and maintain a Tools and Consumables Business for our full range of

Machinery to provide our customers with original products at a competitive price, in

a timely manner.

17. Develop a strong expandable standalone Service business for the Division, working with the Companies Business Development Team and Human Resource Team.

18. Actively manage all key supplier relationships to ensure that the Division continues to enjoy the active support of those suppliers in to the foreseeable future.

19. In coordination with Companies CEO assume responsibility for the financial position of the Machinery Division, and take adequate measures to satisfy its fiscal needs.

20. Monitors capital expenditure and operating budgets on an annual basis and ensures adherence to the growth rates and profitability targets.

21. Participates and/or engages in major contracts and agreements negotiations and approvals.

22. Reviews internal processes, audit reports, make decisions and reports to the Companies CEO the results of internal audit.

23. Oversees the Legal Counsellor as required in the performance of his duties and the protection of Companies Group interest.

24. Oversee the establishment and implementation of a risk management framework across Companies Industrial
- Machinery Division.

25. Oversee the provision of Information Technology services including the

infrastructure, software and user support activities.

26. Develop and implement all HR systems and processes to ensure that managers and staff have access to both the required administrative and development support to ensure a positive working environment.

27. Ensure effective Divisional performance by ensuring that the required capabilities and capacity are recruited, developed and retained in a timely manner in support of the business objectives.

28. Actively develop all Business Unit Managers via Mentoring and Coaching as required.
