**Our client**:
The world’s largest Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle facility and large-scale investment in Gasification & associated utilities/facilities. The 4 GW Combined Cycle Power Generation Plant consists of Syngas/ULSD fired Gas Turbines, HRSGs, Steam Turbines, Water Cooled Condenser, Process Steam and Water Systems, including the related equipment, piping and process valves and Sea Water Condenser Cooling system.

**Nature and Scope**:
**The role is accountable for managing and supervising the safe operations & reliability of the Facility including**:

- Facilitate the attainment of the highest operational discipline standards and best practices to meet customers’ satisfaction with reliability, quality and flexibility on product supply.
- Ensure the smooth and reliable operation and maintenance of all aspects of the plant, with the aim of achieving the highest plant reliability and availability, whilst controlling related costs in line with the business need.
- Primary accountability of this position is safety of all people working on site.
- The role coaches, advises, initiates, facilitates, motivates the operations team to achieve excellences in all phases of operations, productivity, reliability, quality, cost and customer satisfaction.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Typically Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical), Master’s degree Preferred.
- Minimum 15 years in large complex facilities in the areas of industrial gas with direct experience in Plant Operation.
- Track record in which strong technical and practical operational skills have been demonstrated.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques.
- Demonstrated managerial, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Track record of success on Safety, Environmental, Quality and Employee Involvement.
- Strong commitment to employee involvement, team building and diversity.
- Ability to interface with senior customer representatives and community leaders
- Excellent Communication & coordination skills. Able to handle high level communication with customer
- Fluent oral English and excellent written English, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
