Finance Manager

A position has arisen to assist the Regional Financial Controller and Finance Director in delivering a high quality and effective financial reporting and compliance function for MEA. The Finance Manager will support in delivering the Financial Accounting, Reporting and Analysis activities and the Internal Audit and Compliance requirements. The role will be focused on ensuring delivery of clear, accurate and insightful reporting to the Regional Senior Leadership Team and to the Group and Internal Sector team in Canada and the UK respectively. The role will be responsible to Maintain the legal and statutory reporting of the Saudi entities and make sure that are compliant with lосаl tax and accounting laws Ensure office financial obligations are paid in a timely manner
The finance manager will also assist in developing robust controls and helping to ensure that monthly closing and financial reporting processes all operate effectively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the financial accounting team to ensure accurate monthly GL close process, balance sheet reconciliations and group reporting, meeting all deadlines
- Lead the consolidation & reporting of monthly management accounts including variance/trend analysis
- Lead the implementation and compliance of Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), IFRSs and use of best accounting practices
- Maintain the legal and statutory reporting of the Saudi entities
- Participate in the implementation of new financial systems and ensure proper controls are in place
- Assisting PPC in creating and managing forecasts and budgets for various projects
- Perform variances analysis
- Work closely with the operations to ensure the integrity and reliability of the financial and operating results for reporting and forecasting purposes
- Overseeing projects relating to cash flow, financial reporting, and P&L
- Lead coordinator for internal audit and assist with external audit and statutory compliance
- Support Finance Director on ad-hoc initiatives and analysis
- Develop strong working relationships with team members and other key stakeholders
- Structure the financial & accounting Department
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal team and external business partners and be the point of contact for various suppliers and contractors.
- Manage compliance with lосаl tax and accounting laws Ensure office financial obligations are paid in a timely manner.
- Managing banking relationships.
- Handling payroll processing and labor tax compliance.
- Prepare financial statements and Coordinates ing with external financial, compliance and tax auditors.
- Seek opportunities to learn new skills and aspire to develop within the team.
- Participate in special projects to improve the finance function

Technical Competencies
Essential
- Fully Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA/CIA or other recognised Western Accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years, experience within a construction/engineering consultancy organisation, preferably in KSA and the Middle East
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (knowledge of Data Modelling, PowerPivot and PowerBI tools is an advantage). Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools;
- High standard of (numerical) presentation skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Arabic (both written and oral).
- Experience of interacting with multiple businesses and finance functions.
- Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment.
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.

Desirable
- Some Big 4 experience as a senior associate or above (PwC/EY/KPMG/Deloitte);
- Working knowledge of ACCOAC, Hyperion Finance Management (HFM), Smart View and other IT systems and databases.
