We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Associate Director to lead our Roads & Highways Design team, based in Riyadh. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical delivery of major roads & highways design projects, driving business growth, and leading a team to achieve excellence in project outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s footprint in the region by building client relationships and ensuring the highest standards in road and highway design.

**Your new role, what's involved?**
- Lead and manage the Roads & Highways design team to deliver high-quality design solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee the development of conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for road and highway infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex engineering issues related to Roads & Highways design.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines and budgets.
- Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of design documents, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in Roads & Highways design and incorporate them into project deliverables.
- Mentor and coach junior staff members to enhance their technical skills and professional development.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the Roads & Highways design team.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Master's degree is preferred.
- Overall 18+ Years of Industry Experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a roads design lead role (last 5 years in KSA).
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex Roads & Highways projects from inception to completion.
- Strong KSA Client engagement skills (worked as a roads lead or PM/design manager for infrastructure for Roads General Authority i.e. RCRC, MOT, MOMRA, JM, RM etc.).
- Sound technical knowledge and proficiency in relevant design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, etc.).
- Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, while effectively prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional engineering license (PE) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulations and standards related to Roads & Highways design is advantageous.
