**Job Summary**:

- Bechtel is looking for a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer who has extensive experience with executing greenfield and brownfield with a proven track record seeking technical/leadership challenges in Mechanical Rotating Equipment engineering.

Maintain good knowledge of Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), Bechtel design guides, appropriate Bechtel Standard Application Program (BSAPs) and administrative practices. Plans, develops, coordinates, and reviews detailed engineering work outlined herein according to a set of engineering design criterion utilizing approved engineering procedures and practices. Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include complex features such as resolving conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and/or difficult coordination requirements. Provide training for groups within and external to Mechanical Engineering, as required. Mentor junior mechanical engineers. Provide input to scoping documents such as equipment list as well as necessary support to P&ID, HAZOP and Model reviews. Provide technical support to resolve construction and startup questions and issues

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work for a global business unit usually in one discipline in a project or staff group.
- Plans, coordinates and prepares equipment specifications, equipment datasheets, material requisitions, bid evaluations and award recommendations for rotating/packaged equipment.
- Coordinates Engineering efforts in assigned areas between specialty and other engineering groups or disciplines, with the client, suppliers, and contractors and between other groups.
- When delegated, assumes a lead technical role over other engineers or project subgroups for completing specific tasks.
