Pediatric Cardiac Interventionalist

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatric cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and intensivists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Assess and manage congenital and structural heart diseases using mínimally invasive techniques.
- Interpret echocardiographic, angiographic, and hemodynamic data to guide treatment decisions.
- Participate in research, clinical trials, and advancements in pediatric interventional cardiology.
- Provide consultation services to other departments and participate in patient education and counseling.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends, technology, and best practices in pediatric cardiac interventions.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Education & Certification**:

- U.S. Board Certification in Pediatric Cardiology / Interventional Cardiology OR
- FRCS (Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand, or Australian) OR
- Diplôme d'Études Spécialisées (DES) / CIS - French Board OR
- Facharzt & Sub-Board / Fellowship with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience post-Board/Fellowship OR
- CCST UK (Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training - UK).
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum 3-4 years of post-fellowship experience in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology.
- Proven expertise in performing pediatric cardiac interventions, including catheter-based treatments for congenital heart diseases.
