**Job Summary**:
The Asst. Director Finance, under the guidance of DOF, provides direction and guidance in all areas of accounting and finance which includes the preparation of financial reports, credit control, purchasing, data management, food & beverage cost control, relevant external professionals, and the coordination of accounting activities.

PREPARATION OF FINANCIAL AND MANAGEMENT REPORTS
Ensures timely and accurate preparation of financial and management reports, in compliance with quality, standards, and objectives specified by Corporate Office, holding company and General Manager.

Monthly Financial Statements
Food & Beverage Cost Controller’s Report
Minutes of Credit and P&L meetings
Controller’s Report
Daily Revenue Report
VERIFICATION AND SIGNING OF HOTEL DOCUMENTS
Verifies and signs hotel documents to ensure proper processing, controls, and authorizations.
Cheques
Purchase Orders
Petty Cash
Asset Disposal Forms
Purchase Requisitions of Finance Department
Contracts/Agreements
Ensures that all legal, contractual, and licensing documents comply with the legal requirements of the country.
Application/Renewal of licenses
Contracts with Suppliers
Concessionaire Contracts
Filing of Tax Returns
MANAGEMENT OF RISKS
Reviews potential risk exposures of hotel and arrange with KPPI for insurance coverage in line with Corporate Office, holding company and legal requirements of the country.
Consults with insurance brokers and Corporate Office on risk evaluation, adequacy, and premium competitiveness of insurance policies.
Files and follows-up insurance claims.
Ensures validity of policy periods and renewals.
IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNAL CONTROL SYSTEM
Documents and implements policies and procedures to ensure proper internal control in all operational and financial aspects of the hotel and company.
Ensures Capital Expenditure Requisitions and Purchase Orders are duly authorized.
Checks compliance of Controller’s Checklist.
Approves all payments to ensure proper justification, documentations, authorizations, and account allocations.
Complies with internal control recommendations from internal and external auditors.
Reviews accounts receivable, payable, payroll, store, front office cashiering, F&B cost control, purchasing, credit control and MIS procedures to ensure internal controls are adequate and effective.
SUPERVISION OF PAYROLL
Supervises the timely preparation of payroll and reports to ensure payments to employees.
Approves monthly payroll summary.
Approves service charge and tips on bills computation.
Approves and authorizes payments relating to legal deductions.
Reviews and approves the payments of casual labor.
STAFF PRODUCTIVITY
Manages the Finance personnel to maintain optimum productivity from them.
Assesses manpower requirements and introduces cross training.
Performs and assists in annual evaluation of Finance staff.

**What we are Looking for**:
5 years’ experience in an audit firm or 3 years as Financial Controller in an International class hotel.
CPA, University Degree, or other relevant accounting professional qualifications
Ability to co-ordinate with key management team and motivate staff.
Honest and sense of discipline.
Stable employment record.
Computer knowledge
Familiar with Hotel’s Property Management and Point of Sales Systems
People oriented and ability to influence people.
