Safety Supervisor

**Role Summary**:
The Safety Supervisor will direct and manage compliance with the company safety programs to ensure safety goals are met and the safety of the teams is observed.

**Position Location**: On Site; Eastern Province, KSA
**Industry**: Engineering, Project and Construction Management
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Supervise day-to-day activities on site.
- Ensure that workers make use of necessary protective equipment like helmets, hand gloves, welding shades etc., where and when necessary.
- Investigate accidents and tackle their causes.
- Take note of workers’ safety concerns and immediately acts upon them.
- Arrange training programs on safety measures on site.
- Develop plans for emergency procedures.
- Receive and act upon reports regarding safety concerns from workers within the construction site.
- Serve as a link between workers and top management when it comes to issues that have to do with the safety and proper organization of the site.
- Introduce measures that will help curb accidents.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
- Professional certification e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personality Attributes**:

- Experienced in buildings and infrastructure industries.
- Excellent Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) experience on large projects.
- Capable of preparing HSE plans for grassroots refinery projects.
- Experienced in coordinating with international HSE organizations.
- Capable of leading the site risk assessment study and generating the Process Safety Management Program for the project.
- Proactive Team Leader.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
