**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of our laboratory equipment at customer sites. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of a range of advanced instruments, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Perform troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance on laboratory equipment such as X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) instruments, as well as sample preparation equipment including mills, presses, and fusion machines.
- Complete scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Order and manage repair parts based on diagnostic findings.
- Provide hands-on training to customers on the proper use, operation, and basic maintenance of our products to ensure optimal performance and user confidence.

Customer Interaction & Support
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve technical issues and provide timely follow-up.
- Escalate unresolved service issues through the appropriate internal channels.

Collaboration Within Our Organization
- Identify and communicate potential sales or service improvement opportunities to relevant internal teams.
- Collaborate with fellow service engineers to share knowledge and ensure consistent service quality.

**Documentation & Reporting**
- Accurately complete service reports, job sheets, and expense documentation.

Travel & Development
- Travel to customer sites within Saudi Arabia and internationally as required.
- Participate in training programs and continuously enhance your technical expertise.

**Qualifications and Competencies**
Professional:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in analytical thinking and systematic troubleshooting.
- Certified/Licensed Engineer preferred.
- Solid understanding of PC operating systems, networking, and Microsoft Office.

- Proactive, creative, flexible, and a committed team player.
- Strong customer focus and goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
