Supervises the effective/efficient receipt, storage and monitoring of items in the warehouse with maximum accuracy in compliance with the approved procedures.
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Makes certain that items received in the warehouse are inspected as stipulated in the related policy.
2. Ensures that received items are correctly accepted in the system by receiving receipts on daily basis.
3. Ensures that items on the Pallets/Shelves are stacked in equal layers with appropriate barcode labels.
4. Maintains an effective stock locator system with assurance that locations are amended in the system timely and bulk location labels are placed visibly.
5. Ascertains that items are rotated by expiry date/lot number or any FIFO system as appropriate and nearing expiry items are removed from active shelves as stipulated in the established policy.
6. Liaison with Receiving & Inventory Control Sections to resolve issues arising during the warehousing operations i.e. Acceptance/Rejection issues.
7. Coordinates with stocks coordinator for the appropriate documentation/system sub-inventory transfer of items for disposal, replacement, return, recalled etc.
8. Assists to conduct the Annual Physical Inventory or Cycle Counts as and when required.
9. Ensures the safety of warehouses and materials is intact, only authorized personnel are allowed inside the warehouse and appropriate record of keys is maintained.
10. Provides necessary training to warehousing staff to enhance their capability of counting/receiving and stacking of items to elude the human error.
11. Ensures the optimum utilization of manpower and other available resources.
12. Assists to finalize the annual leave plan for warehousing staff and ensure its compliance.
13. Ensures that proper tools/equipment/vehicles are used during the warehousing operations as stipulated in the related policy.
14. Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
15. Participates in self & other’s education training & development as applicable.
**Education**:
Bachelor’s Degree or IPA Diploma in Hospital/ Business Administration or other related discipline is required.
**Experience Required**:
One (1) year of related experience with Bachelor's Degree or three (3) years with IPA Diploma is required.
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
SAUDI NATIONALS ONLY.
