**Job description**
- Direct responsible for purchase of direct parts
- Understanding of procedures / processes, specification and Incoterms
- Identifies and realizes cost savings opportunities
- Manage Price Variance versus budget, standard and last purchase
- Develops supplier relationships and track performance
- Collaborate with Global Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) Category Managers
- Support operational effectiveness
**Experience Requirement**:
- 5-7 years purchasing/materials management experience with a minimum of 3 years in purchasing
- Must demonstrate strong negotiation, planning and interpersonal skills in order to interact with co-workers and suppliers in a teamoriented environment.
- Excellent negotiating skills and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communications.
- Microsoft PC skills required and versatile in handing data
- Understand Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Have experience in SAP will be an advantage
- Proactive & willing to learn
- Willing to accept role rotation within Materials Management as and when needed.
- Willing to perform overtime as and when needed
**Education**
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing
