**Role description**:

- Responsible for the implementation, management and delivery of BIM on projects at a Business Unit Level
- Responsible for managing technical aspects of BIM production for projects or components of major projects

**Role accountabilities**:

- Agree and implements project approach for collaboration with Global Design colleagues
- Oversee an agreed scope of BIM work and the operational workload of a project team including sub-contractors, ensuring BIM work is allocated appropriately and BIM resources are fully utilised
- Ensure compliance with Arcadis BIM standards and national BIM standards
- Deliver work that meet client and Arcadis requirements
- Provide technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project
- Manage the performance of BIM practitioners in the project team, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues
- Provide technical BIM leadership at a project level
- Manage the production of, and quality assure BIM deliverables to ensure that they meet or exceed client expectations as well as Arcadis requirements, and that they comply with national standards and codes of practice
- Resolve complex modelling issues
- Work collaboratively with all design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution
- Manage the production of complex coordinated project models that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project
- Check and verify that quality requirements have been achieved in accordance with Arcadis systems
- Liaise with the project team, client and consultants to review all BIM models for the project and make any necessary amendments
- Engage with clients

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Engineering Technician status or equivalent through a recognised professional institution
- At least 15 years relevant experience in design, drafting and BIM
- At least 7 years relevant experience managing BIM activities on a large scale mixed-use building development as part of an international consultancy
- Previous experience in setting up and coordinating a BIM Protocol and Execution Plan for a given building project
- Experienced in leading, and working with, people from varied discipline, backgrounds and cultures
- Strong Communication skills
