**Responsibilities**:
The Aviation Project/Programme Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing aviation-related projects from inception to completion. Their main goal is to ensure that projects are delivered within the defined scope, schedule, and budget while meeting all regulatory and safety requirements. The role may vary depending on the organization and the specific project being managed, but some common tasks and responsibilities include:
1. Project Planning: Collaborating with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Creating a detailed project plan outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.

2. Budget Management: Developing and managing the project budget, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

3. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing risk mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project's success.

4. Team Coordination: Leading and coordinating a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, technicians, pilots, regulatory experts, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment towards project goals.

5. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensuring that all aviation projects adhere to relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements set by aviation authorities.

6. Communication: Providing regular updates on project progress to stakeholders, clients, and senior management, ensuring everyone is informed about the project's status, challenges, and successes.

7. Problem-Solving: Addressing unforeseen challenges and obstacles that may arise during the project, making quick and effective decisions to keep the project on track.

8. Quality Control: Ensuring that all deliverables and processes meet the required quality standards and comply with industry best practices.

9. Procurement: Overseeing the procurement process for necessary equipment, materials, and services required for the project.

10. Project Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.

**Requirements**:
1. Education: A bachelor's degree in aviation management, aerospace engineering, project management, or a related field is typically required. Professional certifications in project management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), can be beneficial.

2. Experience: 10-15 years of experience in aviation project management or a related field is essential.

3. Aviation Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices is crucial for managing aviation projects successfully.

4. Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.

5. Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team and manage stakeholders.
