**Job Summary**

The **HSE** **Specialist (30004224)** is leading health, safety and environmental practices for day-to-day site operations and perform all required reports and follow ups with the HSE team and site management.

**Essential Functions**
- Informing and supporting country management in HSE matters.
- Maintaining a variety of reports and records and processes documentation to reflect schedules, performance, methods, process and procedures.
- Providing technical HSE support to the sites and coordinating their HSE activities.
- Prepare a local departmental safety file and update it.
- Maintaining contacts and collaborating with national authorities and associations.
- Safe disposal of waste and expired chemicals and keep the waste level on site at law level as possible.
- Monitoring of emissions, noise, and wastewater.
- Ensure update the environmental record annually.
- Explain the learning lessons to all employees whenever required.
- Make workers identify the cause and do corrective measures by themselves.
- Organizing and participating in emergency management on country level.
- Identify the near miss at the plants with corrective measures.
- Perform inspection of the plants to improve any deviation.

Assisting the Managers by making suggestions to refine working conditions and the use of equipment for continuous improvement efficiency

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education and Experience**
- B.S. Degree required
- OSHA or NEBOSH credentials is required.
- 2+ years of experience in HSE is a must
- Experience in a chemical & Manufacturing industries strongly preferred.
- Local Authority classification as Safety Professional.

**Additional Qualifications**
- Must be Saudi National
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Must have a demonstrated track record of building healthy relationships and outstanding interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Arabic and English
- Ability to work in a multicultural team as well as independently
- Risk reduction methodologies is required
