Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Project Engineer**to join our team

In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary residences, in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines. Expedites the distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Manager.
- Leading an in-house design team of different backgrounds to provide different services such as detailed design, technical assessments, and
design reviews.
- Reviewing designs & Shop drawings, plans, and reports to ensure constant compliance with project specifications.
- Managing diverse types of projects centred around electrical systems upgrades, buildings, and facilities, including initiating, planning,
executing and close-out stages.
- Conducting technical assessments of different equipment and systems to ensure asset integrity and efficiency.
- Coordinating with various stakeholders, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project achievements.
- Coordinating between all trades conducting surveys & site investigation.
- Working on RFI, RFP, RFQ, PR, and PO.
- Prepares technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
- Obtains, analyzes, and circulates technical and contractual information to project disciplines.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Carry out complete Electrical Systems discipline designs to the required standards and quality.
- Develop Electrical deliverables for all phases of a project, including conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design.
- Develop the design of medium and low voltage facility power distribution systems from the electric utility interface point.
- Develop the design of emergency and uninterruptible power generation and distribution systems.
- Develop the design of miscellaneous Electrical systems such as lighting, grounding, electrical heat tracing, fire alarm, public address, security, card access, etc.
- Develop typical Electrical engineering and design drawings, such as: single line diagrams; power, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and other systems plans; electrical area classification plans; electrical equipment arrangement plans; cable tray layout plans and sections; conduit and cable schedules; motor control schematics.
- Develop typical Electrical specifications such as: electrical equipment (MV/LV switchgear, MCC’s, power transformers, standby/backup generators, UPSs, etc.); electrical installation - general requirements, testing, and commodities.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field 3-5+ years of experience in various projects, involving design, construction & handover. Professional Engineer registration required.
