Senior Clinical Perfusionist

Responsible for administrative and clinical supervision of the Perfusion team as assigned and supervised by the Perfusion Manager.
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Collaborates in purchasing supplies and equipment, assuring periodic maintenance for appropriate personnel and departmental management.
2. Provides administrative and clinical direction to the perfusion team in the operating room, Cath lab, CSICU and other required area.
3. Assists in developing policies & procedures of the Perfusion Services’ section.
4. Responsible for the quality assurance measures and staff development.
5. Plans, develops, and implements education and research of the Perfusion Services’ section.
6. Collaborates in assessing budgetary requirements of the perfusion services, and recommends procurement of necessary appropriate equipment, instrument and supplies.
7. Assists in planning of staffing patterns based on patient needs, and determines number and qualifications of staff and other resources to assure quality patient care.
**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a Health Allied, or Science, plus a graduate of a perfusion-training program is required.
**Experience Required**:
Six (6) years of related experience with Master’s, or eight (8) years with Bachelor Degree is required.
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
- Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
- Accredited Perfusion Board Certified (e.g. American, Canadian, Australian, European, or UK) or equivalent is required.
- Experienced in Paediatric and / or Adult Perfusion, experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support and other extra-corporeal assist devices is required.
