The Head of Trademarks will be involved in business development, leveraging client and government contacts, developing brand prosecution / protection and IP transactional and enforcement capabilities.

We are currently searching for a Head of Trademarks to join our Intellectual Property department in Riyadh.

The Head of Trademarks will be involved in business development, leveraging client and government contacts, developing brand prosecution / protection and IP transactional and enforcement capabilities.

**Duties and responsibilities are as follows**:

- Supporting in leading, managing and developing IP capabilities in KSA;
- Overseeing, managing and executing IP work, including enforcement, litigation, transactional and contractual;
- Overviewing regional and national trade mark portfolios for clients;
- Use of their jurisdictional experience, client contacts, government connections, to win new IP work including trade mark portfolios, prosecution work, enforcement work and transactional work;
- Developing and pitching for marketing purposes including brand protection and enforcement proposals and plans and approach existing and new clients with those proposals and plans;
- Supervising, managing and mentoring junior associates and paralegals in office;
- Working closely with marketing team and partners to develop new work flows / streams from KSA market and internationally; and
- Developing new clients with a focus on the industries prominent in KSA and other regional markets such as oil and gas, pharma, FMCGs, manufacturing, construction and F&B.

- Ability to generate large volume of work from the KSA market
- Bilingual in English and Arabic is a plus
