We are looking for a Real-time Drilling Engineer to join our ranks. Primary responsibilities for this role are:

- Perform offset well analysis and document lessons learned in regard to drilling activities.
- Engage in live monitoring of real-time data on selected well(s) being drilled to:Identify precautionary alerts and hazardous zones - during real time drilling operations.

Provide analytics and recommendations with sufficient accuracy to improve well quality and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure operational adherence to planned drilling program by detecting deviations in practices, procedures and parameters beyond the design limit.
- Identify missing data and bad data in the real-time data being streamed from the rig and work with data engineers on solutions to address and fix these issues.

The Real-time Drilling Engineer will need to learn and understand the software that Fathom will be using as part of this project.

**Required Experience and Skillset**:

- Minimum 3 years working as an MWD (measurement-while-drilling) or DD (directional drilling) field engineer.
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a real-time drilling center
- Experience and knowledge using following drilling engineering models:Torque and drag

Drill string vibrations
Equivalent circulating density pressure management
Swab & surge
- Basic knowledge of data engineering concepts
