Job Purpose/Background:
The Diversified Infrastructure Investment team is seeking a Vice President to join our Global Infrastructure business based in Riyadh or Dubai. The role will be part of a newly created team responsible for establishing our on the ground presence in the Middle East and launching the deployment of a new Middle East dedicated infrastructure fund. The position will play a key role in driving the execution of direct equity investments in infrastructure projects and companies, with a broad scope across the power, renewables, midstream and regulated utilities sectors, as well as transport and digital infrastructure.

This role offers the opportunity to join a growing organization which is embedded within the information flow, systems and processes of the world - s largest asset manager, to gain exposure to the most dynamic and sectors of the Infrastructure Investment market and be part of a landmark step for the firm in putting their first ever investment team on the ground in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:
Direct Investments: driving the due diligence, structuring, negotiation and closing of direct investment opportunities in the global energy infrastructure sector.

Portfolio Management: ongoing management of completed investments and, in due course, exit processes

Knowledge/Experience:

- 7-10 years+ of work experience in a professional environment with strong exposure to the key regional markets, an understanding of the investable opportunity within the infrastructure asset classes (e.g. energy, power, digital and transport).
- Existing network in Middle Eastern across a broad range of countries, sectors and corporate providing a strong basis for origination activity - Arabic language skills is a strong plus
- Hands-on approach, and willingness to contribute to driving client-focused origination and lead transactions on a day-to-day basis
- Strong financial analytical, team-working and communication skills required.
