Vp - Funding and Liquidity

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

1.Proactively extend support, together with the Senior Vice President - T&CM in Managing a high quality Fixed Income Mandate, Managed Funds & Equities in the Investment Desk within the parameters approved by the Board.

2. Extend active role in the Investment Desk in managing/outsourcing of Investment Management to top tier global Investment Banks and Asset Managers either by Discretionary Portfolio Management and/or through a Separate Managed accounts.

3. Jointly undertake an active role, together with SVP - T&CM in formulating & implementing the Department’s investment strategy and contributing to the overall investment and asset allocation process in conjunction with the Managing Director - Treasury & Capital Markets.

4. Assisted the SVP - T&CM in formulating Investment Management Criteria for each external Managers for the portfolio to be managed; like returns, risk, drawdowns, capital protection, liquidity, and other investment guidelines etc.

5. Jointly screen Asset/Fund Managers for their ability to provide superior returns on a range of assets classes not limited to Equities, Funds and manage risk on the portfolios consistent with APICORP’s approved guidelines.

6. Responsible in the preparation of monthly Credit Review Report, as well as the Weekly Spread Reports.

7. Assisted in maintaining a strategic asset-allocation model for implementation as directed, and ensure investment portfolios for trading readiness.

8. Actively support in developing entry & exit strategies for Equities & Funds based on strategic and short-term factors, including the implementation of a comprehensive investment plan, which encompasses and reflects the tactical views in driving the investment objectives.

9. Make periodic reports to reflect up-to-date views on present and future market conditions, as required.

10. Other report as required by the Managing Director - T&CM and also the SVP - T&CM.

11. Assist actively the SVP - T&CM in driving & developing a credible Medium Term Investment Strategy for Funds & Equity Portfolios taking into account the market cycles, return and risk profile for individual asset classes in various geographies and investment strategies.

12. With guidance of the SVP - T&CM, Benchmark Asset Managers performance with accepted index consistent with the mandate and with other Managers; including the fund allocation to be managed for each of the shortlisted managers/ mandates.

13. Carry out regular monitoring and surveillance of the investment portfolios. Suggest tactical shifts in the portfolio in consultation with Asset Managers to generate additional returns for the Corporation.

14. Conduct thorough due diligence to assess qualitative and quantitative aspects of a Fund Managers by Interviews, Conference calls and visits (where applicable) prior to investing.

15. Monitor performance of Fund Managers/Portfolios regularly and Conduct due-diligence for every Manager at least once a year.

16. Understand market conditions, individual risk drivers and current issues and their implications on the Corporation’s P&L - bring to the attention of Managing Director - T&CM and/or Senior Vice President - T&CM on a timely basis for appropriate corrective measures.

17. Establish and maintain strong relationship with Investment & Fund Managers, regional/international brokerages, investment banks, and financial institutions covering various traditional and alternative investment markets.

18. Expand APICORP’s contacts with the outside financial world & intermediaries in the Investment community for identifying new avenues for possible investment opportunities.

19. Support the Senior Vice President - Treasury & Capital Markets on reports for presentation to management and Board;
20. Ensure compliance with Managing Director - Head of Treasury & Capital Markets on administrative procedures of the Corporation.

**Skills**:
**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- A degree in Business/Economics/Engineering and an MBA or equivalent with finance major from a recognized University. A CFA/ FRM/CPA certification would be valuable.
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience
