Mechanical Engineer

Responsible for reviewing all mechanical design submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and authority requirements for roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review mechanical system designs, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and pumping systems related to infrastructure works.
- Verify compliance of mechanical designs with project requirements, applicable codes, and regulatory standards.
- Assess proposed mechanical equipment, materials, and layouts for efficiency, safety, and suitability.
- Review design calculations, schematics, flow diagrams, and equipment schedules for accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate system integration and coordination with other disciplines to ensure seamless functionality.
- Identify design discrepancies, safety risks, and non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Review technical datasheets, compliance documentation, and design reports for quality and conformity.
- Provide detailed review comments, maintain documentation, and ensure adherence to quality control procedures.

**Experience**:
- 15+Reviewing mechanical designs for infrastructure: 10 years (required)

- 15+ Identifying design issues and risks: 10 years (required)
