**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Reporting and Compliance**:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- **Project Accounting**:

- Oversee job costing and allocate project costs accurately to ensure profitability.
- Monitor and reconcile project budgets, contracts, and change orders.
- Handle percentage-of-completion accounting for long-term construction projects.
- Knowledge of off-plan project
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Supervise the management of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Review vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and retainage releases.
- Ensure timely billing to clients and follow-up on collections.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Collaborate with project managers to prepare and monitor project budgets.
- Provide financial forecasts and variance analysis for ongoing projects.
- Develop annual budgets and analyze financial performance against targets.
- **Cash Flow Management**:

- Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for project operations.
- Manage bank reconciliations, loan agreements, and financial instruments.
- **Internal Controls and Audits**:

- Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial transactions and reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- **Team Leadership and Collaboration**:

- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
- Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and other departments to align financial goals.

**Key Competencies**:

- Thorough understanding of project cost control and revenue recognition.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial reporting.

**Work Environment**:

- Office-based with occasional site visits as required.
- May involve extended hours during month-end and year-end processes.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and Finance (Master’s degree is a plus
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in construction-specific accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication (Arabic & English) and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: ﷼4,000.00 - ﷼7,000.00 per month
