**FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

Perform pre preparation task for mould changing in order to ensure minimum mould changing time.

Load the mould efficiently as per the procedure given and set the machine and the process as per the specification of the product.To carry out development trials and maintain record of process parameters, change parts, samples produced during trial run.To review production data and online rejection to identify recurring process defects and take immediate corrective action to minimize rejection and machine downtime.Contribute in achieving production target through effective process control.Observe active machines to identify abnormalities in machine operation and take corrective action if required.Resolve quality issues which requires accurate machine and process setting to obtain production efficiency.Verify the accuracy of product specification and ensure Quality personnel and Production supervisors’ approval on production data sheet during mould and job changes.Carry out cleaning/ maintenance of change parts and mould accessories after production run and ensure proper storage with identification.Ensure cleaning of material handling equipment is carried out at regular interval.Check the mould condition and lubricate it as and when required.Perform minor maintenance as required and provide assistance in general maintenance if required.Observe safety precautions on priority, especially during mould changes; identify potential area of hazards and take necessary safety precautions.Follow company’s HSE guidelines in respect of all operations undertaken.Ensure compliance to Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environment requirements as specified in the global QHSE Management System with strict adherence to ISO and local regulatory authority.Ensure that all records and documents are up to date and have full traceability and retrieval at all times and that all processes, procedures & activities comply with ISO and management procedures.Observe SOP being followed by personnel on shop floor and provide on job training to ensure strict compliance to policies and procedures.Train, mentor and provide direction to machine operators on equipment, processes and procedures.
-Perform any other job/task given by the Production Supervisor to accomplish department objectives.

**Requirements**:
**Education/ Qualifications**

ITISpecial trainings preferably in Plastic production.
-Age factor - maximum 35 years.

**Experience**

Minimum of 2-4 years of technical experience in manufacturing industry preferably industrial product, plastic and or packaging.
- At least 5-6 years of hands-on experience in plastic manufacturing industry (in case there is no ITI qualification)

**Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge**

Knowledge of production process.

Knowledge of mould changing / setting.Knowledge and experience in Mechanical, Electrical and hydraulic equipment preferred
-Knowledge of related machines and its operation preferred
